The Yak 50 series production at the Arseniev plant stopped in 1985 after 312 aircraft built of which about 50 are still flying, mainly in private hands. Unbeatable at the airshows, this Yak is capable of advanced aerobatics provided all structural modifications have been made. Yak-50 entered aviation history books thanks to the 1977 speed record of 319,57 km/h.
