Fokker 50-120 c/n 20253 with tailnumber U-05 and name "Fons Aler" of the Royal Netherlands Air Force at Lelystad airport in The Netherlands (EHLE) on 7 October 2012. The aircraft made its last flight in the colours of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) from its homebase Eindhoven airport (EHEH) to Lelystad on 5 September 2012. U-05 turned out to be the very last Fokker ever to enter RNLAF service. The era of Fokker aircraft with the Dutch air force, which lasted almost 96 years, has now come to an end. To the right of the barbed wire the tail is visible of former KLM Boeing 747-206M c/n 21549 PH-BUK, on display at the Aviodrome museum at Lelystad airport since it was transferred over water to the museum in 2004.
