January 6, 1964 - On Pad 19 the Titan II launch vehicle No.1 first stage is being erected. The gantry erector is laid horizontal and the first stage booster is positioned onto the erector. From this position it slowly rises to a vertical position. After mating of the second stage and the Gemini spacecraft, the overall length is 110 feet, weighing 150 tons.
