I never saw this aircraft when it was flying with United! Instead I waited until Sept 25th 2007 to make the frame! Looking very smart in the enduring Air India scheme, AIK (the airframe formerly known as N205UA!) loads it's next group of passengers as it prepares for another long flight to India.

A6-RJX sits at Stewart Airport/Newburgh NY (SWF) in between duties flying a Head of State to and from the UN General Assembly opening session in New York City, Sept 25th. Note the big hill (which can hide an MD11!) will be flattened for terminal construction, and opening up the ramp for better taxying access to the current terminal

Rare bird! VN-A149 Vietnamese Airlines B777 taxis at Stewart Airport NY just arrived from JFK Sept 25th 2007

A rare bird in the USA is this B777, one of a handful in the Vietnamese Airlines fleet. It is seen at Stewart/Newburgh Airport NY (SWF) having dropped its passengers at JFK for the UN General Assembly meet Sept 25th 2007. I was just about to leave SWF to head into New York when the text came the aircraft had left JFK heading my way! Not the greatest of photos, but for the record, its my first VN- airliner!!

The United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York City this week, brought many Heads of State and Dignataries to the city. It also produced some interesting airliner moves, including 0207 - a Venezuelian 737-200 which is seen parked at Stewart/Newburgh Airport (KSWF) approx 60 miles north of New York City!

Providence RI is connected to Europe by a Friday's only charter to Ponta Del Gardo (PDL) in The Azores. Previously Air Luxor had used an L1011 Tristar or A330 on this service. CS-TGV is waiting to leave PVD on July 6th 2007 with another load of excited holiday makers!

N133DN loads up the New England Patriots, prior to heading to Tampa Bay for the team's first preseason game of 2007. Foxboro stadium is about half way between Providence and Boston Logan airports, but it seems NFL teams prefer using Providence for the ease of traffic! As a result, local spotters can expect some interesting 'heavy' jet action from August into the post season in January!
