Bonriki International Airport, to be precise.
That is the full name. Tarawa is the main island of the Republic of Kiribati. Amazing that how in a short time everyone seems to recognize the most remote international airports of the world. When I was there in the period of 2000 - 2004 there were only 2 international flights a week. I am not quite sure whtat the current situation is.
I've never been there, but I guessed that it had to be somewhere in the south pacific. Looking in Google maps did the rest.
