The Heathrow Trident Collection, which opened in 2008, provides a nostalgic insight into British Airways and BEA from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s. Created by Kevin Bowen, the exhibition is stuffed full of Trident and BEA/BA memorabilia. Key items include a functioning flightdeck centre console and systems station as well a complete galley from a Trident 1 and partial cabin (comprising seats, side-panels and windows) from the Trident 3 which flew the last BA international service (G-AWZU), on 31 December 1985.
