Hawker Typhoon IB EK183:US-A sits alone at Matlask when the type was shown to the British press.
EK183 was flown by Squadron Leader T.H.V Pheloung of Oamaru, New Zealand. Pheloung was KIA in US-C on 18 June 1943.
