Captain K.D. Parmentier (right), Co-pilot J.J. Moll, Flight Engineer B. Prins and Radio operator C. van Brugge flew the DC-2, PH-AJU, 'Uiver' to Melbourne in three days, eighteen hours and seventeen minutes, winning first prize on handicap and second prize in the speed section of the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race.
