The neat Westland CL 20 Autogiro, powered with a Pobjoy Niagara S radial engine outside the Cierva Autogiro Company sheds at Hanworth. The aircraft designation stood for La Cierva and Lepere. Lepere was at that time working with Liore and Olivier, holders of the Cierva licences for France, and it was he who designed this aircraft.
