3 Astronauts - 10 day round trip - Inside this cramped space - Destination : The Moon - Sign me up! What I can't understand is how rundown it looks inside considering it was only used once.

The Commander occupied the left seat of course, The Command Module Pilot occupied the centre seat, and the Lunar Module Pilot was in the right seat. The seats could be stowed once in orbit to create more space and it was the first time that astronauts could float freely inside a space craft, Mercury and Gemini spacecraft being too small to allow such movement. The seats were redeployed for deorbit and splash down.
