This was the first time I had photographed a B727-200, a real classic of the golden age of jets. I apologize in advance for renedering the photo in black and white as the sky was a very murky grey colour, combined with the faded maroon colour scheme of the aircraft, it just didn't do any favours for the jet itself. The aircraft is seen on approach to London Heathrow's runway 27R.

The tail had an interesting logo, it had the letter f, then a sword followed by a number 9, anybody have any ideas who this belongs too? Note the old style hush kit on engines.
