While I was shooting aircraft departures at London Heathrow on a sunny December day in 2012, a Camera Car drove by shooting 35mm film, by the looks of it, which allowed me to get this shot.

Later that day the Film Crew took to the skies in a Squirrel Helicopter, departing from an area near Terminal 3. Mounted on the nose, was a WESCAM Camera Stabilizer allowing it to take steady aerial shots of Heathrow Airport as well as arriving an departing aircraft.

23/3/2013 Update :

I have since found out that the Camera Unit were shooting back ground special effects plates for Tom Cruise's up and coming Science Fiction film titled "All You Need Is Kill" based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka's light novel. The film is set for release March 7th 2014.

Basic Synopsis or Logline : War of the Worlds meets Groundhog Day!
