I went on an Aviation Pilgrimage of sorts, visiting the city of Dayton, Ohio, after reading the life stories of Wilbur and Orville Wright the inventors of the airplane as we know it today, and the 3 point axis of control principle which all airplanes can trace their lineage to

One of the stops along the way brought me to this location the birth place of the two aviation pioneers, or what's left of it. Unfortunately the house where they were born was purchased by Henry Ford the creator of the Model T automobile who relocated it lock stock and barrel to his Museum in Michigan were it resides to this day. Well at least the land is still there with a foot print of the house. I imagine such a relocation would not be permitted today.
