The mighty R-4360 Wasp Major, the most powerful, mass produced, production piston engine ever. 28 cylinders produced a total of 3500hp, and had an all up weight of 3500Ibs. The R-4360 was mounted on the B-50 an upgraded version of the B-29 Bomber, as well as the B-36, the Magnesium Overcast as it was fondly known.
