Rhinebeck NY, USA; In the autumn crosswinds Gusts got tricky the lighter planes stayed on the ground, but the show must go on. The photo was taken just as the dolphin left the ground. the cross wind caught it. Lower wing tip is >6 ft above the field, note ailerons. recovery was sucessful The crowd gasped and cheered. Our hero was away.....
