There are a lot of spotting locations where you just can't setup a chunky tripod with a wembley head.

I have a tripod that I used with an old Sony camcorder, but I lost the adapter plate. Guess I should buy a adapter, although I would just as soon buy a real nice pro-quality tripod for photos use.
