RAF Search & Rescue Sea King Helicopter XZ590 came to the rescue after Ochils MRT were caught short with a second call on the same night - the first time this has happened in decades according to the team.

XZ590 traveled 85 nautical miles to join the search for a missing person on the Ochils before assisting the team with a second rescue in the county of Clackmannanshire. XZ590, stationed at RAF Boulmer, is seen landed in the Cochrane Park in Alva where it dropped members of the MRT.
