Japan Self Defense Force's C-1 is an oddity. The constitution prevents Japan's military from "invading" other country's, so this 'plane's design range is limited so it can only fly internally in Japan. Hence it can't assist on Japan's increasing role in UN support for peacekeeping, recovery, etc (Haiti being one example).
