It is our first simulator and will always have a special place in the Museum.
When we get FFS and CPT they will all dwarf this one, but it will always be the
first in our collection.
The first task was to paint it and make it ready
for the Boundary Bay Airport Air Show on July 27th, 2013. It was decided to
paint the aluminum part (on one side) as well.
We are installing a door in the nose (there was a cover plate with 28 screws)
and we wanted easy access to the computer that is going to run the FS program
etc. The opening was widened so we can get in with both arms and plug in cables,
switch the computer on/off.
The finished simulator will have a Royal
Canadian Air Force decal on one side and the Museum logo on the other.
