North American AT-6C Texan, N7690U

My mount for a formation rehearsal flight at Kenosha was North American AT-6C Texan, N7690U ex 41-17275. As this was the 60th Anniversary year of the T-6, 1998, the celebrations culminated in over 50 T-6's flying in a formation making a flying '60'.

This was one of 65 ex US AT-6's/SNJ's reconditioned and delivered to the South African Air Force between July 1952 and September 1953.
