Standing infront of an Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah IX powered Anson Mk.I are, Geoffrey Tyson (right) who flew the first production Anson Mk.I, K6152 at Woodford, on 31 December 1935 and S.A. 'Bill' Thorn (left), test pilot with Avro who flew the silver-doped prototype Avro Anson, K4771 for the first time on 24 March 1935. A Mr Brown stands between them.
