Student pilots from 9 Elementary Flying Training Schools, Ansty, walk out to their de Havilland DH.89A Tiger Moth basic trainers, winter 1939/40. Tiger Moth coded '8' is N5464 which was lost with this unit on 8 April 1941 when it stalled and spun into ground in bad visibility, Binley, near Coventry.
