Owen Cathcart Jones & Ken Waller who flew de Havilland DH.88 Comet, G-ACSR in the 1934 MacRobertson Air Race. Interestingly, both Owen Cathcart Jones (G-ACSR) and Tom Campbell Black (G-ACSS) acted as Pilot ferry in the Nationalistic zone in the Spanish Civil War
