A general view of the Bournemouth Meeting which commenced on 11 July 1910. It was held on a specially prepared landing ground at Southbourne to the east of the coastal town. As well as pilots from the Continent, it attracted virtually every British aviator. Notice the Wright 'style' biplane overhead, possibly being flown by Charles Rolls who was killed at this meeting flying such an aircraft.
