The Belgian aviator, Joseph Christianes on his Henry Farman biplane, Bournemouth Meeting, July 1910. On the first day of the meet, he made a flight covering 83 miles in 2 hours 20 minutes. However, three days later, he was to end up in hospital when his Farman biplane collapsed on landing.
