Belgian Defence Air Component Westland Sea King MK 48 RS01 40 SQN Heli Koksijde. Picture taken at Kleine-Brogel 2002-July-18.The RS01 was the eldest of five Westland Sikorsky SEAKING Mk.48 SAR helicopters in service with the Belgian Defence Air Component. Manufactured by Westland Helicopters Ltd. at Yeovil England. Serial No. WA831. First flight: 1975-December-19. Last flight took place on 2008-December-17, from Koksijde Air Base in Belgium to the Royal Military Museum in Brussels Belgium where it is on display in the Aviation Museum after 33 years of service.
