Lakshya tests

The Lakshya pilotless target drone developed by the Bangalore-based Aeronautical Devel- opment Establishment has been successfully test flown from the Interim Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur on India's eastern coast. Sources at the Defence Research and Development Organisation said the test was part of an air defence exercise being undertaken at ITR. The Lakshya can be launched from air, sea and land and is capable of up to 15 missions.
