Embraer and EADS to buy OGMAstake

purchase Embraer and EADS are to buy a majority stake in Portugal's government-owned aircraft maintenance company OGMA. Airholding, the Embraer-EADS consortium, will pay €11.4 million ($15.1 million) for a 65% holding in the newly privatised company, subject to final approval of the acquisition by national anti-trust authorities, expected within 60 days. Brazil's Embraer owns a 99% stake in Airholding, while EADS has the option to increase its 1% to a maximum 30%.
