Armour add-ons protect against wide range of risks

Ballistic armour products from Plasan Sasa (Israel Export Institute Pavilion) are made to survive everything that can be thrown at them.

The company's composite armour for aircraft, vehicles and personal protection can protect against artillery, small calibre weapons, mines, improvised explosive devices and artillery fragments.

The company is one of only a handful worldwide approved by the US Department of Defense to supply advanced add-on armour for lightweight military vehicles and trucks.

It is also a preferred supplier to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF). Ballistic armour protection kits are available as modular, portable or fixed installations for helicopters, including the Black Hawk, Boeing Chinook, Bell, Puma Super and Mi-17 models.

Applications

Plasan Sasa also offers a number of applications for the Lockheed Martin C-130 series aircraft.

Its personal protection product range is designed for urban warfare and terrorist confrontation. The range includes a portable shelter, designed to provide an instant 1m2 "screen of protection".
