Typhoon pilot brushes with disaster at Tattoo

A practice air display by a UK Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon almost ended in disaster at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, when 29 Sqn’s pilot came within feet of the ground after performing a loop on 15 July.
