Bell Canada reaches 3,000th delivery landmark

Bell Helicopter Textron Canada has delivered the 3,000th aircraft assembled at its Mirabel plant near Montreal. The Bell 412 medium twin has entered service with offshore operator Air Logistics. The Canadian plant is adding 600 employees, taking its workforce to 2,200 by the end of 2007, in part to assemble 386 Bell 407-based armed reconnaissance helicopters for the US Army.
