Trent 1000 assembly under way
Rolls-Royce has begun assembly of its first Trent 1000, the engine being developed for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Its first test-bed run is scheduled to take place at the company’s civil aerospace facilities in Derby, UK, in February 2006.
