INTERVIEW: Emirates' Flanagan fights subsidy allegations

It's one of the fastest growing carriers in the world and its financial results are the envy of competitors everywhere, but Dubai-based Emirates has constantly struggled to shake off a perception that its success is based on state support.

The most recent accusations have come from Europe and Australia and they have got under the skin of the airline's long-time management head Maurice Flanagan.

Now vice chairman and group president, he responds to the allegations in an interview with Airline Business magazine.
