Airbus has rolled out the first A319 for Shenzhen Airlines of China at its plant in Hamburg.
The carrier has three of the type on order, plus three A320s. It now operates 32 Boeing 737s and one A320. Shenzhen recently signed a framework agreement with the Export-Import Bank of China covering funding commitments of up to $1.5 billion to expand its fleet to between 60 and 100 aircraft over the next three to six years. It operates domestic flights and to Kuala Lumpur and Seoul.
