VIDEO: Grumman F-14 supersonic fly-by

Last week we asked Flight International readers to identify a video clip of a fighter crew ejection after suffering a bird strike and we had an overwhelming response.

This week we thought we'd share with you a video clip also currently circulating on the internet showing the aircraft flying close to the speed of sound, with shockwaves evident on the surface of the ocean.

We believe the aircraft to be a US Navy Grumman F-14 Tomcat, but we would be grateful for any further inmformation.

Email your leads to us for an update. we would like to know the date and location of the fly past.
