The first customer Boeing 777-200LR is pictured below departing the manufacturer’s Everett, Washington plant last Saturday on delivery to launch operator Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

The 777 flew to Manchester, UK, where it picked up passengers before flying on to the airline's Islamabad Chaklala hub.

PIA plans to use the ultra long range aircraft for new nonstop flights from between Karachi and Toronto this week. The airline will receive a second Boeing 777-200LR in late March.
