Embraer has kicked off an international tour with full-scale mock-ups of its Phenom business jets. The tour is designed to stimulate interest in the $2.75 million Phenom 100 very light jet and $6.65 million Phenom 300 light jet, which are scheduled for certification in 2008 and 2009 respectively. The international tour will extend across the USA, the Brazilian manufacturer says, and Canada and Mexico will be part of the North American schedule. Tours of Europe, including Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland, as well as Brazil, China and other parts of Asia, are planned for the second half of the year.
