Hawaiian spat escalates


Mesa Air Group has filed a countersuit against Hawaiian Airlines, claiming the Honolulu-based carrier is violating antitrust law by trying to prevent the regional carrier from launching inter-island service. In September Mesa unveiled plans to launch an independent regional jet carrier with other investors to operate high-frequency services connecting Hilo, Honolulu, Kona, Lihue and Maui.
