Defence contracts

■ The US Army has awarded Boeing a $44 million contract to remanufacture six AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopters by May 2007.
■ Mass Consultants has received a contract worth up to £10 million ($17.8 million) to design, supply and integrate new secure communications equipment with the Royal Air Force’s three British Aerospace Nimrod R1 electronic intelligence aircraft.
■ German-Dutch Wind Tunnels has received contracts worth $15.4 million to manufacture and conduct windtunnel testing on a model of the Northrop Grumman E-2D Hawkeye airborne early-warning aircraft for the US Navy.
■ Knight Aerospace Products will deliver up to 20 palletised mission system racks for the US Navy’s Lockheed P-3 “Hairy Buffalo” time-critical targeting testbed under a $10 million deal.
