Grob Aerospace and ExecuJet are poised to agree a maintenance and support deal that would see them launching the SPn utility jet into the North American market later this year. The two companies – which are respectively manufacturing and marketing the all-composite twinjet – unveiled a corporate interior at EBACE. Niall Olver, chief executive of ExecuJet (pictured in the VIP cabin) says the first flight-test aircraft is “exceeding all performance parameters”. A second prototype will fly in July. The interior unveiled at EBACE included six beige leather seats, a refreshment centre and lavatory. The SPn was launched at last year’s Paris air show. Although it will not reveal order numbers, Grob says it has sold out first-year production.
