results Italian engine manufacturer Avio has posted a 5% increase in full-year revenues to €1.28 billion ($1.61 billion) on the back of strong growth in the civil engine sector. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were up 15.6% to €190.5 million. But the group posted a negative net income of €109.4 million “mainly generated by the costs related to the financial structure of the 2003 leveraged buyout”.
