Noël Forgeard
The EADS co-chief executive has been forced to issue a formal apology for offending members of the French national assembly. According to French press reports he referred to them as “excited monkeys” in a meeting with trade union representatives over Sogerma’s future. EADS issued a statement saying that Forgeard “did not wish to harm the dignity of those elected by the republic, having always shown the greatest respect for the institutions and their representatives”.
