ADS-B upgrade

Thales has completed software upgrades to the Australian Advanced Air Traffic System to support the country’s automatic dependent surveillance broadcast (ADS-B) implementation programme. The country is working towards the nationwide use of ADS-B above 30,000ft (9,250m) through the use of 28 ADS-B ground stations located throughout Australia.
