Londoners got an advance peek at the aircraft everyone is talking about over the weekend, when the Bell Boeing V-22 tiltrotor performed an urban flypast in downtown London.
Two Ospreys flew up and down the Thames, designated as a London's official helicopter air corridor and over Whitehall, home to the country's defence ministry. However, as most civil servants chose leisure over work at the weekend, most of the spectators were drawn from the sunbathers drawn to the UK capital's parks as the heatwave brought temperatures in the thirties to the city.
