The Royal Air Force aerobatic team, the Red Arrows, today flew a display with the largest civil aircraft in the world, the Airbus A380 moments ago at the Farnborough air show.
The Flight team of journalists, winding down after a week of press conferences, were on hand to capture these exclusive photographs of the historic event (below). Our camera crew from Flight TV broke off from editing today's installment of your daily air show news programme to capture the fly-past (below middle).
The Airbus A380 was piloted by test pilot Peter Chandler, accompanied by the nine volunteer pilots of the British Aerospace Hawk T1As (pictured bottom).
