The search for the wreckage of an Albanian government Bell 222UT helicopter that crashed into the Adriatic Sea on the night of 16 July ended on 10 August, almost one month after the accident that killed all six people on board, writes Igor Bozinovski.
Only part of the helicopter has been recovered and the victims' bodies were not found.
The cause of the loss of Albania's only VIP helicopter is yet to be determined, but various scenarios have been studied by investigators, including possible problems with the aircraft's navigation equipment due to the extensive use of mobile phones during the flight.
The helicopter went down near the Albanian coast while performing an emergency medical service flight to Italy.
It took off from its base in Tirana and flew to a nearby hospital to collect Albanian former deputy prime minister Gramoz Pashko.
