Formation flight follows GP7200's A380 debut
Airbus last week flew four A380s in formation, hard on the heels of the maiden flight of the Engine Alliance GP7200-powered version of the European manufacturer's ultra-large airliner. Last week's formation flight comprised aircraft MSN001, MSN002 and MSN004 - which are all powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 900 turbofans - and the Alliance-powered MSN009.
