US pushes Open Skies

US Undersecretary of Transportation for policy Jeff Shane warns global alliances could be “dismantled” unless a stalled transatlantic deal is concluded. “If we lose the current open-skies agreements, we face the very real prospect of dismantling the US-EU airline alliances,” Shane told the International Aviation Club in Washington, warning of possible “serious disruption” in US-EU Open Skies talks.
