Asiana Airlines’ new colour scheme (See below) has broken cover on an Airbus A320 that is being prepared for delivery to South Korean carrier in Toulouse.
“The new dynamic tail design shows the `Energy of Saekdong` with a background colour of cool grey which is close to white along with the new colour of Asiana parent Kumho Asiana Group,” says the airline.

The design is a major departure from the previous design (see below) which featured predominately grey/brown and white fuselage. It is the first major rebranding undertaken by the privately-owned Star Alliance member carrier since it launched operations in December 1988.

Asiana says the new scheme will be introduced on one of its Boeing 777-200ERs (registration HL7597) at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport on 26 October. The airline says that the design will be applied to six more aircraft by the end of the year, and across its 60 strong fleet in five years.
