An Airbus A380 lifts off left-wing-low from the runway at Keflavik in Iceland as the crew tackle winds of 40-50kt (74-93km/h) during crosswind testing.
Reykjavik-based photographer Baldur Sveinsson took this picture and many others on 10 November as the aircraft, F-WDD, performed six landings on runway 02, taking-off from runway 20.
Sveinsson reports that it was on the second take-off that the wind lifted the right wing.
Airbus also intends to demonstrate take-offs and landings with tailwinds of up to 15kt.
